🔴 Live GPS tracker
Always-on tracking for eligible ebikes. Wired discreetly into the ebike's power, it sends constant location updates to a full app — motion alerts, route history, location sharing. Needs a 6–17V DC supply and spare wiring.
🛏️ Sleeper GPS tracker
The hidden backup that fits any bike. No wires, a 3-year battery, and it only wakes when your bike is reported stolen — so it's extremely hard to detect or disable.
📡 Proximity beacon
Our indoor secret weapon: a short-range Bluetooth-style signal agents use to pinpoint a bike stashed in a flat, garage or warehouse. Tiny, waterproof, 3–4 year battery.

🔋 Do bike GPS trackers need charging?
No. Live GPS draws power from your ebike's battery, so you don't have to think about it — if the ebike battery is removed, it switches to a backup cell that lasts several days. Sleeper GPS and proximity beacons are self-powered and last 3–4 years with no charging. All our trackers are fit-and-forget.
⌛ What happens when the batteries run out?
We handle it. As a Sleeper GPS or proximity beacon nears the end of its battery life, we contact you to arrange a battery swap or device refresh — part of the ongoing service, with no surprise costs or fiddly replacements. A BackPedal mechanic will typically come to you and fit a fresh unit on the spot.
🚫 Do you add a "this bike has GPS" sticker?
No — and we don't recommend it. Stealth is our best defence: a covert, hidden bike tracker a thief doesn't know about is one they won't strip out or stash the bike to avoid. Most bikes carry more than one tracker, so even if one's found, the others keep working. More on how bike trackers work.
📱 Do bike GPS trackers come with an app?
Yes — but only the Live GPS tracker has a user-facing app. If your bike's eligible for a Live tracker, you'll be able to:
